Robert G. Will II is 41 years old and has been on Texas death row since 2001 for a crime he did not commit.

He is an artist, poet, published writer and a deeply spiritual man, with an integrated practice of yoga and meditation.

Despite the inhumane conditions he has endured for two decades — solitary confinement 23 hrs/day in a 6’ × 10’ cell without access to sunlight, open air & human connection — Rob continues to have a positive outlook on life and his eventual release.

Inspired by classic and modern artists alike, his work includes manifestations of sacred rituals and a depth of psycho-sociopolitical meaning in various dynamics.

Rob’s process involves the manual/arduous crushing of “kiddie” colored pencils and slow melting of the resultant wax to make paint.

The energy transferred is clear: every artwork is like a flower from hell, telling multiple stories that are personal, powerful and riveting.

100% of artwork sale proceeds support Mr. Will’s defense fund and our earnest efforts for his emancipation.
