The Magic Flute ↬ 1-3 June 2017
Bare Opera × The Vanderbilt Republic proudly present The Magic Flute — a bold reinterpretation of Mozart’s timeless singspiel, featuring critically-acclaimed performers.
In the diaphanous, always-transforming Gowanus Loft, magic and absurdity will meet urban surrealism to present an 18th-century opera through a 21st-century frame. Join Tamino and Pamina’s mystical journey as they discover if the road to enlightenment means taking on another’s perspective — or forging your own path.
